RoboRun is a free Roboteq software utility that runs
on your PC that will let you easily:
- Configure the controller's settings more convenientely than
by using the controller's switches and display
- Create a list of codes that you can use for manual entry on
the controller
- Exercise and monitor the motors
- Update the controller's Flash software

Connecting the PC to Controller

Connecting the controller to the PC is as simple as plugging the
supplied cable to the AX2550 on one end, and to your PC's available
COM port. Many of the RoboRun functions can be used without having the
controller attached to the PC.

Controller Configuration Functions

The AX2550 options can be configured using its built-in buttons
and display. For more clarity and ease of use, the RoboRun software
will let you:
- Read current configuration from controller and display it
on the PC
- Change configurations using menus, sliders, and popups
- Save the new configuration into the controller
- Load or save a configuration profile onto the disk
- Create a list of configuration codes for manual entry on the
controller

Motors Exercising Functions

| The RoboRun software
can be used to activate the motors and the contoller's inputs/outputs
using buttons and sliders, while displaying in real time the applied
power, consumed Amps, measured temperature, battery voltage and
other vital statistics.
This function is a very useful and easy to use exercising tool
for the motors as well as an effective troubleshooting instrument. |

Flash Sofware Upgrading Utility

| Upgrading the AX2550
software is a easy as connecting the controller to the PC, launching
the RoboRun software, and clicking the "upgrade controller
software" button.
Roboteq will issue regular upgrades to the controller's software
to add features or improve existing ones. |

Data Logging to Disk - NEW-

| The RoboRun software
will let you save to disk over 30 minutes of operating statistics.
The file can be opened directly by Microsoft Excel for futher
