Channel B Encoder not working was created by kiransmk
Hi,
I am trying to fix the encoder to the AX3500 controller board. Channel A encoder is working perfectly. But, on the channel B encoder is not working. When I checked the voltage at the encoder pins and the connector pins, there is no voltage(0V) at Channel B. Do I have to change any jumper settings on the controller board or is the any way to check the Channel B signals. Please reply ASAP.
Thank you.

You dont need to do anyting to the board. Just connect as shown in the manual. If you dont see GND and 5V at your encoder, it may be a problem with your cable/connector.
If encoder is powered, then with roborun and the encoder tab you can see the level of the A & B signal of each encoder and the counter changing as you rotate it.

Hi
I checked the board AX3500, I saw some soldering repair on the RJ45 connector pins. It looks like the board was already used or broken. That is why the encoder is not working on one channel. Now I do not want to use it. I want a replacement. So, can I know the procedure for replacement of the board
