AX2550HE shutdown on over current?

AX2550HE shutdown on over current? was created by timraymund
We replaced our AX2550 with a recently purchased AX2550HE, one that has the four resistors on the board. Occasionally, this motor controller seems to shut down on over current. It still takes commands and reports all of the status data, but it does not apply any power to the motors. Is that the way it is intended to operate?

(This is much better than melting channel 1!)

This controller should work normally. The resistors have no effect on the controller\'s operation.

Overcurrent would not cause a shutdown and normal operation would resume as soon as the overcurent condition disapears.

Check with Roborun that the current, voltage are ok. Check and let us know what power level output is reported when the controller goes off.

If the problem persist, try disabling the short ciruit protection with Roborun.
