communication error

communication error was created by ctarter15
when i hoook up my ax2550 and try to conect it to my computer using a serial to usb connection i receive a runtime error 8020 (communication problem). Does anybody know how I can correct this or even what the problem is. Ive checked all my conncetions three times and installed the software for the serial to usb conncetion.

I\'m getting a solid 8, but not sure whether is Overvoltage or undervoltage or Overtemperature.
The batteries are new, I\'m guessing is undervoltage, but ealier on the serial-to-Usb cable smoked, how do I find out the problem?
