ax2550 no cntrl message

I am using an ax2550 in rc mode, seperate speed selected. I have a spektrum 6110 reciever. I can get everything to work fine in roborun. WHen i go to rc I was getting the no ctrl message. I was trying all kinds of things and when i decided to hook up only the channel 1 wire from the ax2550 to the 6110, that channel was instantly recognized. The message went out and that channel worked perfect with the radio joystick. Whenever I hook up the channel 2 leads, regardless of which radio channel, I get the no cntrl message. I am really stuck and could use some help.

It may be that the radio is not powered.

When powering the radio from the controller, only the RC1 connector has the 5V. If only RC2 is plugged, then no power goes to the radio.

If this is your problem, then plug the RC1 connector into the battery input of the radio

The problem occurs when Channel 1 is plugged in and then I also plug in ch.2. It works fine with ONLY channel 1 but when chan.2 is plugged in the controller gives the \'no ctrl\'.
