ax3500 always solid 8 was created by dave2brecht
My controller was running fine a few days, now it won\'t power up properly, it always shows a solid 8 on the LED display. I measured all power rails
12V = 11.78
5V = 4.94
3.3V = 3.23
My power supply is 2 lead acid batteries in series, fully charged. Do I need to send it in, or anything else I should check?

The 8 will show when the controller is in undervoltage, over temperature and if the MOSFETs are off because they would be commanded by a digital input configured as \"dead man switch\"
Connect the controller to the PC and check that the reported voltages, including the reported battery voltage are correct.
Check the reported temperature.
If all looks right and it still doesnt work, reset the controller to defaults by pressing and holding the prog and set button as you reset, until the display flashes. Then reset again

My AX2550 stopped dead in its tracks yesterday with the same display and would not respond to the reset. I checked the voltage on the pair of 12 volt batteries in series and the 12 volt battery I use to power the brain while I link to the remote spectrum DX6 controller and all were above required minimums. Took the unit to PC and connected it and within 3 seconds of hitting the repair selection on the roborun it was flashing no control. Why did it stop working is my concern and if it stops again and I am not near my laptop or pc what can I do?
