Cannot get analog input to control the motor (SDC2130S) was created by Anonymous
Regarding SDC-2130-S (single channel), application is crane, have configured everything (limits, inputs, etc.) everything looks good on the roborun dashboard, but I cannot get my analog input to control the motor. The analog voltage changes from 0 to 5000mv on the dashboard, but the motor does not operate. It will operate from the dashboard slider, though. What do I need to do?

By default, the controller will respond to Analog command when no commands are received from the COM/USB or pulse input.
When you are connected to the PC, click on "mute" to stop commands from being sent and allow the switch to analog.
For analog mode to activate, you should have the analog input centered (i.e. 2.5V) and kept above 0.25V and below 4.75V. If you don't want that safety, you can disable it in the configuration under the Startup and the Command nodes.
Also, make sure that only one analog input is active and configured as motor command. If other inputs are enabled, then disable them.

I have done everything you outlined, when I click the mute, I still cannot get a response from the motor, the analog value changes in the analog input window, but no change in output.

Have you changed anything in the command priorities configuration?

There is a known bug in the priority settings.
Try putting spectrum in place of analog.
Also put serial as top as this will allow you to always let the pc drive when unmuted
