Can't get ch2 to work in closed loop position control (HDC2450)

I have a HDC2450 and am trying to run it with 2 channels of independent closed loop position control. I am using PWM as the command signal and analog as the feed back. I can get channel 1 working fine. Channel 2 does not respond to the input signal. I can see the input moving in the run window. The configuration is exactly the same as channel 1. If I set the proportional gain really high eg20 I can make channel 2 oscillate but still no response to the demand signal. I'm using roborun+ Rev 1.2 2/12/11 and firmware v1.2 RCB500 09/04/2010. Do you have any suggestions as to what the problem could be ?

Does ch2 work when you command it via the slider in the Run screen?

No ch2 doesn’t work when I use the slider, ch1 does. ch2 will work with the slider in open loop speed control.

Reset the configuration to factory defaults.
