SDC2130 how to check work with pulse signal? was created by crazyigels
Hello All.
In my system i use LINAK linear drive with analog position feedback.
I connect position feedback to ANA1 pin and switch motor 1 Output to Closed Loop Position. Also i config Ain1 as Feedback1.
If i use slider from Run Tab of Roborun+ software - everything work fine.
Also i connect pulse signal from external generator to pin 4 (DIN1 / RC1) signal.
Pulse have parameters: frequency: 60 Hz, amplitude 5 V, variable duty cycle.
Also i set Command Priorities Priority1 to Pulse
Pulse inputs Pin1 Capture type DutyCycle
Input use: motor command 1
Saving setting to controller.
And nothing work after i disconnect USB cable.
I try change duty cycle on generator - any kind - LINAK still and don\'t move.
Whats i do wrong?
Thanks.
Sorry my bad english.
i from Russia.

reset to factory default
Then, on roborun+ check that you see pulse measured in the Pulse Inputs box in the Run tab.
Note that if the input is configured for Pulse Width, in capture type, it will give you a value only if the pulse is high for a minimum of around 800us and a max of around 3000us. You will see 0 for any shorter or longer pulse.
If so, change to different capture type, like Frequency or Duty Cycle.
If you see a value, and if that Pulse input is configured to be a Command, then if you click on the \"Mute\" checkbox, the pulse will become the new source for the command: you will see the Status LED on Roburun change from Serial to Pulse.

So i reset all to defaults, use default cable to connect to my RC radio receiver.
On RUN screen i set mark to mute.
And in Status zone - Pulse control not on :( And motor command not change if i move stick on RC command unit but Pin1 change....
Something wrong with setting?
Or this is malfunction inside of my SDC2130 unit?
May be i need software update or something else?
I really lost with this trouble and i have brain crash :(
Also i add profile from my SDC unit.
please help.

Your profile file shows that you have Pulse Input 1 as command for motor 1, and Pulse Input 2 as command for motor 2.
Your screen shot shows that you have a pulse signal only on Pulse input 1.
Apply a RC channel also on pulse input 2.
Otherwise, configure pulse input 2 as \"disabled\" and \"no action\"
If the pulse can be measured, like it is in your case, this means the board and the firmware work.
