SDC2130 pulse width limits was created by Kwacky
I\'m testing the pulsewidth measurement capability of the SDC2130 (firmware v1.2, 12/04/2012) and it\'s not performing as expected.
I\'m feeding pin 8 with a 200Hz 0-5V square wave, and looking at the results on Roborun+ (rev 1.2.3/8/13) Below pulsewidths of 500us, the PIn2 drops to zero, as it does for pulsewidths above about 2500us. This does not seem to agree with the datasheet.
The datasheet (v1.2 May 3 2012) states that pulse durations can be min 20000us, max 10us. I interpret this as meaning minimum 10us, max 20ms. Is this correct?
The measurement works as expected if I set the capture type to duty cycle.
EDIT: My issue seems similar to dev.roboteq.com/dev1/online-forum/contro...th-rc-input#29527475, which was fixed with a firmware update. There seems to be a version 1.2.3/31/13 firmware available for the SDC2130, however the links on this page: dev.roboteq.com/dev1/brushed-dc-motor-co...-dc-motor-controller point to the 1.2.12/04/12 firmware.

The pulse mode is optimized for use with RC radios. And so a pulse is considered valid if it is not far from the 1000 - 2000 range.
See if you can use the duty cycle or frequency modes.
