Well she works flawlessly via the pc utility. Now to see if the reason the pulse didn\'t work was due to the over voltage

2 things to look for in the event the pulse signals are not working. If you are connected to pc with roborun+ running, assuming your first priority is still Serial, go to the run tab and do the following.

Click on the mute button located to the left of the slider to disable the serial command.

Look at the top in the status led section to see if pulse radio turns on. If you are using a remote, make sure it is powered and all 3 of the pulse terminals are connected. Even if you aren\'t using channel 2, that still needs to be connected for some reason (from personal experience).

If pulse led comes on, you should be able to see the motors spin if you give it a command.

If you don\'t get the pulse radio led to come on try the following.

Make sure all 3 connectors to the RC are connected, B, Ch1, Ch2 to the receiver.

In the run tab on the top right, look at pulse inputs section. Do numbers show up in those fields and do they change as you move the throttle? If so, make sure both throttles are centered to home position.

Considering there appears to be only 1 port for communications, ie 1 serial port, I think it will be impossible to connect the computer and the rc cable at the same time, no?

You would connect the 3 lines, Tx, Rx, and Gnd. It can be done, you just have to solder it well and make sure there aren\'t any solder shorts. Wire gnd line from pin 5 or 13, I\'m sure that one of those should be free of wires already. Tx is pin 2, and Rx is pin 3. Since the RC cable comes with the receiver connectors already attached, you shouldn\'t have to do anything with those. As suggested, you can use the serial to USB adapter, in which case, wire the the Tx, Rx, and gnd lines to the serial from the db 15 connector of your RC DB15 connector.

Hoping to avoid all that, will consider it if I have to diagnosis why the rc inputs aren\'t working till then I am hoping to keep it simple. Thank for the help!

I forgot. The LDC2250 should have a USB port already on it. You can connect to the pc using that.

You\'re right. I also had forgot that the USB gets removed in this product in the conversion.
