VBL2360 Mosfail

I'm using a VBL2360 motor controller with Anaheim Automation BLY34 . It is wired in star configuration a 52 V battery was connected to the controller. I have tested the motor with the Anaheim motor controller and it worked fine, however, when I connected it to the VBL2360 and gave it commands to spin using the roboteq controller software, it initially stalled and then gave the mosfail warning. The armature never spun during this process. Is the controller broken since it gave a mosfail warning? The motor was configured to be in the velocity control mode. I used the velocity slider to change the speed, nothing happened.

Try running the motor in open loop first. If the motor doesn't spin in both directions with ease, then the UVW wiring is off. This can change from controller to controller, even if they are the same.

In terms of a stalled output in a closed loop mode, the "Loop error detection" can cause this as well. Simply disable it, or set it to a different value.
