MGS 1600 and HDC2450 was created by kapa
Good evening, I have a problem, bought the HDC2450, and sensor MGS1600, I have already connected the sensor mode multipwm in HDC2450 with magsensor in pulse rc1, but I can not get signal from the sensor or the value 0 or is in this always fixed at 756 pulse in1, to calibrate the sensor in rc1 pulse signal is fixed.
The HDC2450 is to assemble an AGV system with separate steering and traction, I have the traction system and direction of a motor creform UNITEC 24V 12A and 24V 1A for direction, which is the best script for this option. Can you made me a profile for this configuration for HDC2450.
Thank M.Ferreira

The magsensor utility has a calibration reset for the sensor. "Calibrate to zero", you will use this in the event the magsensor seems to be giving erroneous data. Make sure that the sensor is not located near the magnetic tape or any magnetic material.
The pulse output value you should read should change anywhere from 5uS to 95uS. Make sure that the RC1 input is configured as "magsensor" under the conversion type.
Mixed mode 3 seems to be the best mode to use for the tank steering for AGV's.

Yes, you'll still need the script.

The mixed mode is something you can set in your configuration that you won't need to do in the scripting.

But in this box don't show me the number 128.
The Pulse 1 box will display the number 128 if no tape is detected and a different value as a tape is moved from side to side

Is the magsensor still in the default settings, other than tape polarity. I will double check on my unit to see what the range values are. But either way, so long as the pulse value changes, you should be okay.
