Jonas,
For your first question, it is better to choose the run script option.
For your second question. When you are in run tab the utility sends continuously motor commands, even if the slider is at zero. That enables the serial motor command and disables the analog motor command. When you change tab no serial commands are sent and the analog command takes effect. If you tick the Mute check box in run tab then analog command will take effect.

yeas i understand about mute box and analog enabling in RUN tab,
but what im telling, when you in configuration or console or scripting tab , the analog inputs are always enabled .
