SDC2130 Appears to be dead was created by jbattin
USB is not working, the device is not recognized on windows 7 or windows 10 and rs232 is not working. The device is not recognizing communication of any kind over rs232. The power led comes on (and if the USB is plugged in the USB LED is steady red but the status light shows nothing) Is there a combination of pins I can short to force a reset? Board says SDC2100 v2.1. Thanks.

Since status LED is always off seems that the MCU is dead. Please refer to customer service (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) in order to inform you about the options of replacement/repair.
