SDC2130 output voltage

SDC2130 output voltage was created by DCON
Hello,

I'm using a SDC2130 in open and closed loop.
It seems that the controller is not giving the maximum power relatively to the command.
To illustrate it, in open loop with Motor Control Utility i'm ordering the maximum command (by exemple 1000) and at the same time i'm applying enought torque on my DC motor to block it. The result is an output voltage about 12V with 5A of average consumption. If I unblock the motor a little bit the voltage raise.
With don't I have 24V on the output at full power ?

Thanks.

What is the actual output voltage you are reading when full command?

Are your power adjust limits set to 100%?

Yes it's 100% for Fxd and Rev.
The output voltage is approximatively at 12V.

12V is the max output even in open loop? What closed loop mode are you operating in? What is your battery voltage (select Battery Volts in capture)?

Please send the configuration file for any configuration you are using. You can email me the config files at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. if you'd rather not post them on the forum.

Additionally, please make sure you have the latest firmware release loaded onto your controller. It if v1.7 and can be found in the Download Center on our website.

Yes 12V when blocked.
I've also updated the firmware.
I've found the problem. The SDC2130 is underpowed for my application : i've tested a MDC2230 limited to 60A and it works fine.
I've done measurements and the power required to move the motor is too high for the SDC2130 (Amp during movement > 30A).
