Dear at all.
I'm having trouble with my MBL1330 controller. I tried some BLDC's and I got the same error everytime. The HAL-Counters counting in the opposite direction. I set a positive command and the motor spins in the different direction and I get negative hal signals. At first i thought it was a wiring problem. But i tried a lot of different wirings and it was always the same, positive command -> negative response. This fact screws everything related to a closed loop(closed loop count) configuration. The motor spins in the wrong direction and never reach the final destination.
In the moment the wiring is like default: U-V-W on the controller matches the wiring on the BLDC(U-V-W). Also the HAL-Signales matches the wiring.
The motor runs very smooth, but the HAL-Counter is inverted. Other wiring combinations cause a not working motor or the motor runs very unstable(one winding is not used correctly).
Does anyone has a advice?
i included the loaded profile as an attachment.
BLDC with hall sensors: 4 pol pairs, Max rpm: 4500
Thanks in advance!

This can be remedied simply by setting your number of pole pairs as a negative number (ie inverting the number of pole pairs). This is described on paged 97 of the user manual under the section "Setting and Operating in Trapezoidal Modes"

Thank you very much!
That was the solution to my problem.
Maybe it would be nice to put in a small information box on the pol pair configuration field. Something like positive entry in one direction and a negative entry generate a inverted output.
But anyway, thanks for the help!

I had the same issue and even setting the minus sign (-) for the halls didn't work.
The problem was finally solved by Roboteq by writing software version 1.7 for the controller.
