Lost controller after Firmware updateHi was created by roamingrobots
Hiya,
I have a new XDC2460 controller, but it wont accept the 2nd input from the receiver, on roborun works fine, just not on RC, ive tried the obvious changing plug, rx etc, and tested on and other controller.
That's not the only issue, I thought I would update the firmware to see if that would sort it, but like a plonker ive put the wrong Firmware on the controller and now it wont talk to my PC anymore.
Can I restore it, or upload it direct, as I cont connect to it anymore :-(
Thanks
John

Hello John
You can restore your controller by following the instructions in this FAQ article . Note that this requires an RS232 connection between your controller and PC/Laptop, it cannot be done via USB.
Once you are able to get the correct updated firmware back onto the controller check to see if you are still having problems with the RC inputs. If so please contact us with your configuration file at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Actually other way around, you will use RS232 on the controller (located on the db15 connector) and then USB on your PC via an RS232 - USB adapter

ah yes of course... been a long day !!
And do you think installing the latest firmware would solve the input issue ?
When I look in roborun, in "run", it responds perfect, but on the right hand side there's no value for Pin2, there is for Pin1, and when I compare to another controller it looks like that's the issue as only one input is working when I try and run it via remote control, .
Thanks for all the help so far

Hi,
I have a problem at the time I connect the laptop to the Roboteq Driver XDC2460,it appear "lost controller" . Then I tried to updates new firmwares to the driver but it appears " do not compatible with the driver though I have download the correct driver in XDC/HDC families.
