can having the hall sensor connected wrong cause the controller to blew up.
I only had the motor and hall sensor connected to the RGBL1896 controller and tried run run it with roborun on the laptop and the motor ran jerky and loud and when in to a short detected fault. I reset the controller when I realised that I had put 12 poles and it should have been 6 pole pair s. I then tried to run the motor again and the controlled blew up
I would have thought that the controller would have some kind of fail safe the stop this or have I done something else wrong is there a warranty on this or am I up for a new controller
