Hall feedback issues with FBL2360AS was created by jimhathaway
I am trying to get the software to read my hall sensors. The outputs are open collector and measure fine on my oscilloscope. They are honeywell SS461 hall sensors. They simply do not appear to change state in Roborun when I turn it by hand or use the autoconfigure utility. I am curious if there are any buried settings or other checks I can do in software to help diagnose what might be wrong. Is there an internal pull-up on the hall inputs? Any other special considerations? I didn't see a wealth of information on the hall input in the manual, but I also might be looking in the wrong place. Any help is welcome. I am working from home as much as possible but will be in the office later this week in an attempt to get this project going.

It seems that I have the same problem with Hall effect sensors that do not change state. Something to add though is that sometimes, at startup, the problem seems to disappear/appear randomly. Apart from that, it's on the same controller model, firmware 2.01. If there is any news about this problem or solutions to solve it, I would be happy to know.
