GBL2660TE can't clear Motor/Sensor fault was created by edmenard
Hi - I'm setting up a GBL2660TE and can't get the Motor/Sensor fault to clear. I have configured the switching mode to sinusoidal, and set the reference seek power pretty high - to 40A. When I run the Motor/Sensor setup on the diagnostics page, the motor turns a full turn in each direction, and displays the HSAT values. But it doesn't display the BADJ and SWD values, and the Motor/Sensor fault stays red. I can't move the motor in open loop mode. I've attached the diagnostic zip file. How do I get the motor/sensor fault to clear? Is there some setting I need to change to make this work?
Thanks

Having a similar problem. No reply from Roboteq support on what to try?

It seems that the default for the Sensor Error Detection setting is "strict", and if you are using Hall sensors and only one channel is connected, the other channel will be in an error state, causing this error. The fix for me was to change the un-connected channel to "disabled", then restart the controller.

Yes! That was it. I didn't think to look for a motor2 issue causing a motor1 fault.....
Thank you.
