ax2550 strange problems was created by sceptre15
I have an ax2550 hooked up to 2 linear actuators with potentiometers. I have an rc receiver driving the motor controller. I am having this very strange problem. When I drive the left actuator all the way forward and leave it there for about 30 seconds, it moves itself to about the middle of the actuators travel and will not respond to any commands until I command it with the rc stick to move past where it got stuck. The actuator will not respond to any commands from the rc stick to move anywhere in the range from all the way out to where it is stuck, and I will only gain control back once I command it to move farther in then where it got stuck. When I regain control by doing this everything is fine again, as long as I don't drive the actuator all the way forward and leave it there for about 30 seconds. It seems like a strange problem, and I have tried to think of everything but have not been able to find a solution. Has anyone ever heard of anything similar to this problem??? I would really appreciate any hints/help/guesses that anyone could provide. Thanks.

This is very strange indeed. We will try to repeat but there is nothing in the code that we can think off that would cause this kind of behavior. Which version of the firmware are you using?

I any case, it is always best to try troubleshooting these kinds of situations using the roborun PC utility. This way you can monitor in real time the parameters needed for this operation: battery voltage, read position value, command value, battery voltage, ...
