Bad data received form controller

Bad data received form controller was created by Fevzi

I try to update controller with "roboup17b-021105.zip" but program gave a message "<FONT color=#ff0000>Verification Error occurred at line 2. Quit and retry</FONT>" after try to update one more time controller updated successfully.
<P style="MARGIN: 0px">However; while reading controller settings, roborun software gave "<FONT color=#ff0000>Bad data received form controller. Same parameters may wrong. Try again or reset the controller</FONT>" message.
<P style="MARGIN: 0px">
<P style="MARGIN: 0px">controller is AX3500.<BR><BR>How can i fix this problem.<BR><BR><BR>

<P style="MARGIN: 0px">If you managed to eventually update the software and it verified OK, then you can safely assume that it is properly reprogrammed.

<P style="MARGIN: 0px">Regarding the bad data received from the controller, first check that the communication is OK. With Roborun, go to the run tab and exercise the controller.
<P style="MARGIN: 0px">
<P style="MARGIN: 0px">Check also that you consistently get the "bad data" message.

A solid 8 indicates an undervoltage condition. If it flip flops, it may mean that your supply voltage is marginal. It needs to be at least 11V.

<P style="MARGIN: 0px">version 17b of the firmware has been out for a while and is very stable.
<P style="MARGIN: 0px">
<P style="MARGIN: 0px">The problem may also be with the RS232 port if you are using an USB to SRS232 adapter. A few users have reported problems with some brand of adapters.
