AX3500 on RS232; C and Linux

Hello

I'm ve started making the interface for communicating linux with the AX3500 on linux. I can send information properly to the controller, but I have absolutely no idea on how to read the input from the serial port. I've tried it lots of ways with no success.

Can anyone give me a hand on this?
