We have the following problem:when I connect a controller to the COMM1 port of the PC it works perfectly. But when I connect the controller in a PCI MULTI I/O card (Longshine) the PC doesn't work when I give the supply to the controller. What is the problem? Have I to make a special configuration for the I/O card?

There is nothing in the data that is exchanged between the pc & controller that could cause the PC to fail.
