Roborun parameter to increase/decrease speed of motors was created by Anonymous
We currently are using AX2850's to drive our manually guided vehicles. Each controller drives two motors. We currently are changing the forward and reverse speeds by adjusting pots on an external joystick. I see some parameters can be adjusted using a pc and the roborun software. Can I increase or decrease the speed of each vehicle using roborun?

Please give more details about your problem.
Are you able to move the motors using the pc utility?

We currently have twelve manually guided vehicles. Each vehicle uses one controller to drive two motors, (left wheel and right wheel). Each controller is driven by a remote joystick. These joysticks get dropped by operators very often and we are constantly replacing them. Our problem is the joysticks that come to us from the factory vary in speed. I would like to have all twelve vehicles running at the same speed. I thought it might be easier to adjust the speed using roborun rather than disassemble the joysticks and setting the potentiometer. I hope this helps. I have not driven the motors using the pc utility but have adjusted some of the parameters in the past. I think there is a parameter in roborun that would increase the speed of our motors; I’m just not sure which one it is?

I understand a little better but I am not quite sure I have it all right.
Anyways, the only control you have is the "Output power gain" setting in the Power Tab of the pc utility. This allows you to set a multiplier to the max power that the controller give out.
