Roborun errors when loading config from AX2550

I'm having an issue with a AX2550, trying to configure it with roborun. It connects and read the controller info, but when I try to load the config. from the controller it reports "bad data" Same thing when I try to store new settings, I get "Parameter store error". I've tried resetting and even reloading the firmware, but no success. Any ideas?

This may be due to your PC configuration if it is set for a language different than English. Try changing your OS setting to English, if not already the case.

It worked after some more regional settings, changed "everything" to USA and it worked.
