selecting Scripting tab leads to error and crash

I just downloaded the latest version of the Roborun+ utility and while it works fine on other tabs, the moment I click the Scripting tab, an error pops up and I can only click OK, followed by an exit of the application.

This is on my fastest windows computer with W7 Ultimate, 64 bit,

Here is the error message

I haven't been able to replicate this issue on my end. Please install Teamviewer8 and we can connect to your pc and see what happens in real time from our. Send email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for further instructions.

just did some check on this error:

When opening the program, the controller is found and opens in the Run-tab. When clicking the Scripting Tab it will crash , most of the time.
When opening the program and going into the Offline state, the Scripting tab will work, I can go back and forth to other tabs, when choosing online again, it will sometimes allow the Scripting tab but mostly crash.

I just found some other issues with my system and with this version of Roborun+ Rev. 1.2.

First of all I found that settings that were saved to the controller seem to be not really saved. After a re-start of the controller I found several settings were back to default, according to roborun+.
for instance: when I select the limit switch option on the min and max of the analog input 4, it will work as it should, but after a reboot of the controller AND reading the controller's settings, it is back to "no action"
However, the controller behaves like correctly, applying the good settings, but it does not give them back to the application. Only after 2 or more "Load from controller" commands all settings are in the application.

For security I saved the profile on disk too, and this has no problem. The first chosen settings come back right away.

As my system is supposed to work wirelessly, I connect with the SNAP-link modules as serial bridge, and I think this is the core of the problem, unfortunately.
Because of the missing settings I then connected via a cable and then it all works flawlessly....
I also noticed that when I slide the slider around, the graph is much more rounded in the wired mode than in the wireless mode.
It seems that several bits and bytes are perhaps not transmitted or received, which explains also the dips and peaks that appear irregularly in the graphs.

Also, with the controller connected with by serial cable, the error is not happening anymore.

I guess it is safe to say that the issue is related to the wireless serial link.

Then again, I would really want this wireless setup to work and wonder if it is possible to have a slower baudrate on the communication, this might improve the reliability of it.
At the moment this high baudrate is also the max that the SNAP-link can handle (and probably many other devices as well).

I don't think a Teamviewer session is needed anymore, thanks for the offer anyway.

BEst,
Rob
