GUI to control SCD2130 motors? was created by TechnoSam
I'm trying to create a GUI that will allow remote control of my robot from a PC. So my question is two-fold.
1) Can RoboRun create GUIs? If so, where can I learn how to do that?
2) How can I use LabVIEW to communicate with these motors? Is there any sample code I could look at?
Thanks so much, this would help a ton.

Roborun+ has its' own GUI, but does not create GUI's.
You can also run a program like hyperterminal with our controllers if you are looking to send serial commands.
In terms of labview, you'd want to try reading this forum. We are not by any means experts with labview, so our scope is limited on this.

Serial commands, I think those are important. Can I send those with LabVIEW?
I've been to that thread before, and it looks great, but the example VI isn't there for some reason. It just says that the file isn't available. I might try to look at the first reply in more detail though.

I looked at the attached files. The screen says the files are 0kB, but when I opened it up using my extractor, there were some pdf files and other things in them.
Try downloading and extracting them on your end.
The folder when extracted should be almost 550kB in size. There are 2 pdf files and 2 VI files in there.

Haha, I have no idea why I didn't try that. Thanks!
Do you know anyone else who could help me with this?
It makes a little sense but not too much.
