Roborun+ crashes when controller powered down was created by mrosenfield
If I am running Roborun+ on Windows 10, and I power down the controller, it crashes Roborun. I installed Roborun on my Win7 computer, and doing the same thing does not crash Roborun; it merely says it has lost the controller.
Any thoughts as to what is going on?

Thank you for your question. How do you have your controller connected to your PC? Is it with RS232 or USB?
If it is with USB this is a known issue. When the controller is connected to PC via USB terminal on the controller, and the controller is either powered down or the USB cable is unplugged, Roborun crashes. It is something we are addressing.
Also, ensure that you have the latest version of the Roborun+ Utility installed. It is available from the downloads page of our website. The current version is Rev 1.5 10/9/15

Yes, using USB. That way I can leave the RS-232 connector in place for operating the controller in my system.
I'll just use the Win7 computer for now, and make sure to close Roborun first when I have to use the laptop.
Thanks, Blake!
