roborunplussetup-v15-101015 Win8.1 installation problem

Good evening,

The application have been installed on a Windows 8.1 64 bit machine by executing Setup.exe and completing the related procedure successfully.

Starting the application via C:\Program Files (x86)\Roboteq\Roborun Plus\Roborun+.exe the application crashes immediately with the following exception message.



Note: "Chiave già utilizzata da una voce esistente" = "An entry with the same key already exists"

Sometimes the application crashes before the rendering of the GUI, other times after the visualization of the main page.
In any case we cannot interact with it because the application closes automatically after we press the "OK" button on the exception message.

We have already tried to:
- uninstall and reinstall the application multiple times
- launch it in Windows 7 (and Windows XP) compatibility mode

What is the problem and how can we resolve it?
Do you have an installation guide for this application?
What are the software requirements for this application (e.g. external drivers, .NET versions, Service packs, specific DLLs ...)?

A suggestion, probably useless, but at the same time also harmless. Run a CCleaner scan for registry issues.

CCleaner scan doesn't correct any issue...
Any other idea?

We tried to install the application on a "clean" Windows 7 64bit virtual machine and it works correctly.
We cannot use it under Win XP, Win 8, Win 8.1 and Windows 10...

I am just a Roboteq user and have no further suggestions to offer. I have Roborun plus installed on both an old XP machine and somewhat newer Win7-X64 machine, and have had no installation problems with either earlier or current versions with either OS. I'm surprised that someone from Roboteq hasn't tried to help you with this.

Thank you for your patience, I sincerely apologize for the late reply. We were looking for every possible occurrence that can cause this issue and corrected them. Please try using the attached version of Roborun+. After downloading the file change the extension to .rar, this forum will not allow attachments of anything other than .zip files. Please let me know if this solves the problem.
