Traction Motor of the Electric Vehicle

<P style="MARGIN: 0px">We have 2.5 HP traction motor operated on 24 Volt . On that 4 terminal are given . Two for field and two for Armature. How To interface this motor to AX2850HE controller .

<P style="MARGIN: 0px">Since you have access to both winding, it looks like you could wire your motor as series, shunt or sepex. Ideally you should look at the manufacturer's recommendations.

<P style="MARGIN: 0px">If not sure, you can try the different combinations while connecting directly to a 12V battery (i.e. without controller) while measuring current and torque. All should make the motor turn but only one configuration will give you the optimal performance.

We have consulted the motor manufacturer &amp; he has recomended that the motor be connected as series motor to convert it to a two wire motor. Now can i use this motor with AX2850HE
