It is best to have the hall cables and motor wires travel separaly as much as possible. If you can add shielding the hall cable, even better.
There are capacitors inside the controller that will filter out glitches coming from the power wires transition.
One way to tell if false hall transitions are captured is to make the motor turn a known number of full turns. Then verify that this number is the number of pole pairs * the number of turns. If the counter is higher, this means that there was electical noise induced.
