IC use one motor only. Do I leave the second channel unused ? CAn I parallel the two channels so they share the load ? Pro's and contra's ?

It is perfectly OK to leave the second channel unused and unwired.

However, with a simple hardware modification, it is possible to gang the two channels into one. In this case, the total current output on that channel can be twice this of each channel independently, or up to 240A. If you don't need that much current in your application, ganging the two channels will still be beneficial as the controller will run cooler and more reliably.

In order to be able to gang the two channels, a small hardware modification must be made inside the controller so that the MOSFET fire in perfect synchronization on both channels. Information on this modification is not public so you must request it specifically from Roboteq.

Wiring the two Green wires together and the two White wire together WITHOUT the hardware modification will result in the controller's destruction.
