VBL1650 Continuous Current

I was looking through the specs for the VBL1650 Brushless DC controller. It states 150A for current. Is this continuous current?

I\'m looking for
• Continuous current: 100 Amps
• Max Current: 300 Amps (up to 30 sec)

The 150A is continuous.

As far as 300A, the problem is that current limiting will kick in and prevent current to rise above 150A.

At 150A, the controller transitors will dissipate 67W.

At 300A there will be 270W to dissipate. The hardware may stand this although this hasnt been tested.
