Breakout board for DB15 connector was created by pauljurczak
I just ordered SDC2130 controller and noticed a lack of a quick prototyping option to connect encoders and I/O lines to DB15 connector. It would be nice to have a breakout board with miniature terminal blocks or a set of single row headers (2 x 4-pin for encoders, 3-pin for serial port, 5 x 3-pin for RC, etc.).
Here is a simple example:
Have anyone made a custom breakout board for RoboteQ DB15 connector?

We've recently about a month back introduced the breakout board for the 15 pin controllers.
BOB15 and Cable-BOB15. These are currently now in production and the pin out mapping on the board will be slightly different and picture will be updated once we receive them. Pins 2,3,5 (RS232 connection) are already tied to the Dsub 9 pin connector which will feedback to the PC serial (use a serial to USB converter if no serial port.

The new design layout will have 2, 5V out pins; 1 on each side (14, 14.2)
Left side will have 14.2(5V out), 15, 4, 8, 7, 6, 5
Right side of board will have 14(5Vout), 13, 1, 9, 10, 11, 12

We are looking to make possible 2 breakout board designs.
1 for the HDC/HBL controllers that are the 25 pin and 9 pin connectors along with the RS232 out to PC
1 for the FBL/FDC controllers that have just a 25 pin connector.
Any suggestions on these new designs other than what is seen on the current BOB15 accessory?

I ordered a DB-25 from ebay with terminal blocks/screw connectors..it's a great thing, can be opened/closed so all connections are protected as well.
Couldn't find it on the Roboteq website and also refuse to pay 60-70us$ for every worldwide shipping which is common for many US-shops.
From ebay it costed me 8-9 us$ including shipping which took about 2 weeks.
