A question using the third R/C channel. Looks like I can have two servos on the third channel. Can I control those independently or will they work in tandum. I can try this myself but was curious. Thanks

When the R/C remote is tuned off, the servos begin twitching. Any idea why they do this and what I might do to stop it? The two main motors are not effected at all.

Sorry.
I'm using the 2550. I'm experimenting with two servos on channel three and four. The Roboteq is controlling channels one and two (DC Motors). Everything works fine but when the transmitter is shut off, the servos on three and four twitch. A simple cure it to shut down the Roboteq first. I was just curious if this is normal operation.
Also, will the Roboteq work with the new Specktrum transmitters and receivers?
It sounds like the receiver is picking up electrical noise that would be emitted by the controller.
Try some of the noise reduction techinques discussed in the lab, and keep the radio and antenna as far as you can from the controller.
If you are using a good PCM radio, these are much more immune to such noise and you should not experience this problem.
We are not familiar with the receiver brand you mention.

To answer your question about the Spektrum remotes is yes they do work. The remotes work just like a normal radio dose except they are 2.4 Ghz. I have used my AX1500 with a Spektrum DX7 and was able to drive it over a quarter mile away from me.

Thank you so much both Cos and Adam. I'll try filtering etc first as for my test, the servo was almost sitting on top of the controller. If that doesn't work, then I'll invest in the Specktrum trans and receiver.
