WHICH speed controller was created by rage48165
Hello, this is my project. We built a 150lb RC tank for a school project, and the initial motors sucked...we are buying new motors, they are NPC-T64 wheel chair motors, and we already have the AX3500 speed controller, wondering if this will be sufficient to power our motors, or if our motors will fry it...the stall current on the motors is 110, but it puts out 300 inlbs of torque at 43 amps, so don't know how much stalling will be taking place, we just need to drive it around, on and off the field at half time, but I also don't want to fry it...Is this enough, or do we need to go for the AX2550

AX3500 should be able to handle these motors.

However, the AX2550 is a much more common choice. Reliability record for this combination has been excellent over the years

Hi,
I have a pair of Invacare Wheelchair motors which will be used for the drive train of my bot.

I am planning on using this bot in my backyard and around my Father\'s farm. It will be outside on dirt roads and in the grass level back ground with grass.

I\'m planning on powering things up with two deep cycle marine batteries.

I want to be able to control the drive motors and be able to power a couple of car window/wiper motors for accessories.

What I am lost on is the controller. What would anyone recommend.

I am attaching a couple of pix of the motor
