PID control with out any motor spedifications was created by kiransmk
Hi folks,
I am trying to make a DC motor to run at a certain spped and I want it to be PID controlled. But, I do not have any motor specifications except for 24v DC, 2-pole, 3A, 110 rpm. That\'s it. How do I implement PID control with out the complete specifications. Could any one please help me.
Thank you...

You wont be able to. Setting the PID parameters is very much a trial and error process where you observe the response of your motor assembly. The default parameters are usually reasonably good but you will need the real motor + gear + load to be sure.

Thank you for the reply.
but I really need to get it controlled through PID algorithm. So, if any one has the datasheet or specification of the wheelchair 24v DC 2-pole motor (INVACARE part # 1057904 or 1057902 and/or NPC part # MTN-IRS9-NR) could you please give me the link or reply to this post...
