Battery Voltage Doubled in RoboRun Utility (AX1500) was created by behrooze
I\'m having an odd issue. I have three 6V batteries in series totaling 18V connected to the Vmot terminals of my AX1500. However, when I start the RoboRun utility, and check the values in the \"Run\" tab, I see that the battery voltage is shown to be 36.3V.
I have also taken one of the batteries out of the loop to check what would happen with 12V connected to the Vmot terminals. The voltage reported was roughly 24V, so it seems to always be double the voltage that\'s actual at the terminal. I\'ve used a voltmeter to confirm the voltages at the Vmot terminal to be half that of what the RoboRun utility is showing.
The main issue here is that I\'m eventually going to be using a 36V power source for my application, and in this case the AX1500 goes into over-voltage protection because it sees a higher battery voltage for whatever reason.
Anyone have any idea about what\'s going on?

verify that roborun correctly detects the controller model as ax1500.
if not, try reinstalling the firmware

The controller ID is shown to be \"RoboteQ AX1500\" The software revision is shown to be 1.9g, and the hardware code is 1-3-3.
Any other ideas?

Well I just reinstalled firmware 1.9g and miraculously the voltage is correct.
