what gyro can I use with a roboteq controller

we have a roboteq AX2550 HE modified to 48volts. We are aware from problems in the past that some gyros wont work with this roboteq but the machine it is in is far too twitchy. We have tried turning down the steering via the transmitter but this doesn\'t solve the problem so we are planning to put a gyro in, is there a recommended make or model that will work with this contoller?
