Connecting MDC2250 to battery and two Dewalt motors was created by Anonymous
You recently shipped us an MDC 2250 board. We also purchased two of the new 18V Dewalt motors which are so popular. My question is a basic one and relates to basic integration of your board with these motors (each connected to the left and right wheel in a standalone bot with an onboard laptop), a 12V supply and controlling them using your BASIC application. It is unclear to me how, using just your MDC2250, the battery and these motors can I physically connect them. Also, I do not see any way to have your BASIC have the bot follow basic commands like move forward, turn left, turn right, reverse, etc. I looked through the user manual and your YouTube videos but I do not see anything which answers these basic questions...

Look at the wiring diagram in the datasheet for the motor and battery connections. It is very straightforward.
Regarding the basic language, start with an understanding of the various commands at the end of the user manual. You can then experiment with them by sending commands manually via the console.
Sending commands within a 17 program is done using the sendcommand() function. So once you know what the commands do, incorporating them into the 17 is fairly simple.
