I need to run Maxon Brushless DC motor EC60. I am advised I can use your controller BL1500 / BL1500BP. Please advise what is difference between the two controllers. What will be connections to the motors? Can I use 25K potentiometer to control speed?

The BP version uses a conduction plate instead of a heatsink. Typically, the controller will run cooler and hold higher amps for a longer time.

A 25K will work but a lower value (2 to 10K) is preferred. A higher value pot will result in a less linear control.
