Controller for a joystick steering system

I want to set up a joystick steering system in my car to replace the steering wheel. Which of your products would be best suited to this application?

This would be either the AX500 or the AX1500 in analog closed loop position configuration, depending on the amount of motor current and voltage you need to handle.
