Some question about the HDC 2450 H or HDC 2450 was created by harena
Hi guys,
I am have some doubts about the necessary motor control unit for my robot. I would like to buy an HDC2450 MC but I am not sure if the 2x120A current version is good for my application. I have a large robot around 350kg with a max speed of 0.8 m/s and the Climbing ability (slopes/stairs) around 45° with a battery power supply 2 x 12V, 85 Ah. I want to be able to drive this robot in a rouge terrain. Are there any sugestions about the version of the HDC 2450 motor control. Second question is can I use the HDC2450 dual channel 2x120 A as a one channel 240 A?
Thanks for any help!

YOu can evaluate the power requirements of your robot using the electric drive train simulator from Enigma Industries www.enigmaindustries.com/EDTSim.htm
The HDC2450 can be ordered as a single channel product of 300A.

thanks for the link. I would like to order the HDC 2450 2x150 A so if I need I can combine the 2 channels and get one output 300A. Is it possible to do it?

It is possible to convert. We will need to send you a special file to download using the PC utility.
