connect a hall sensor ARS1 to a Roboteq was created by netcab2
It is possible to connect a hall sensor ARS1 to a Roboteq to view the position of the steering wheel of an automobile and relate it to the rotation of a motor that controls the steering column?

If you could, please upload a link to the ARS1 sensor datasheet. We currently are not familiar with this and need some information.
Also if you could, describe more in detail what you are looking to achieve.
Thanks.

In reality i am interested in connecting any swing position sensor of the steering wheel to the Roboteq. For example the steering wheel angle sensor LWS3 works with AMR sensors (Anisotrop magneto resistive), whose electrical resistance varies depending on the direction of an external magnetic field. The angular formation on a field of four complete turns of the steering wheel is the measurement of angular positions of two sprockets that actuates a set target in the steering shaft. My question is if it is possible to connect a sensor of this type directly to the Roboteq and control it by programming lines. Then the roboteq can control de rotation of a motor that control the Steering column of a car. These lines can be programd direct to the Roboteq or should I use a computer by USB to control the process? Can I make a program in Roboteq that dialog with another software?Apologize for my english but i am from Uruguay

The controller can use any sensor for feedback as long as it has an analog output, or a pwm output.
