Older firmware for SDC1130 was created by neoplan
I am having two SDC1130 that had been working flawlessly with firmware v1.2 10/28/2012.
Recently I upgraded both to the latest firmware and i am having problems with the communication over RS232.
Is it possible to find the previous firmware and downgrade? (I don't really have time for troubleshooting so I choose the dirty solution)
Thank you
Fotis

When you did the firmware update, did you update it with the correct firmware? Also at the end of the update, did the popup saying firmware update was successful?
Go to the update firmware via the comport again.
In the pop up browser under controller it says "Manually select the controller port", click on that.
Then to the right it says controller port with a drop down box; select the one it uses.
Then program with firmware. Upon starting the programming, cycle the power to the controller.

I downloaded the correct firmware but during the update o selected automatic settings. At the end i got a successful message.
With the previous firmware the serial communication settings in my application (using Linux API) were "wrong" and the controller was working like a charm. The new firmware requires the "correct" settings tp work but after some commands it stops responding.

Controller is set for the following:
Baud rate: 115200
Bits: 8
Parity: 0
Stop bits: 1
Flow control: none
Anyways, I've sent you the 12/04/12 to try out.
