MDC with Battery Charger

Hello all, been trolling through the forum but haven't found this topic yet.

To my question:

In order to use my MDC in a wired application, I was planning to use smaller(12AH batteries in series for my 24vdc motors) with a trickle charger. The use will be short runs with long waits in between. I am also using a self power automation controller that will provide the "control" power and command.

I'm using a charger instead of a power supply due to the back emf possible.

Does this sound reasonable?
Should I add a relay to disconnect the charger when running?

Any suggestions/experience appreciated.
Thanks!

With battery charger, the more that I have learned is about how to use DC 12v to AC 110v 300w power inverter from bestek to charger camera battery. Now I have acquired this method, connect it with car cigarette lighter charger outlet, then you charger all tools safely. Or you can search bestekmall on Google to learn more details about this inverter. Hope this point is useful to you. Have a nice day.
