MBL 1660 position control ??? was created by zara.engineer1
Hi
I have bought the MBL 1660 driver to use it for position control for BLDC motor.
i used all configurations of motor and it worked with speed closed and open loop(with hall sensors).
when i choosed the tracking mode and i used the hall sensosrs with the potentiometer as position feedback .
the motor is perfect but when it attains its happy state it begins oscillations
so wha'ts this problem
i want a good position control please
can you let me know
thanx in advance

If the PID is tuned as best as you can get it, then you can adjust in the closed loop parameters a parameter called "Integrator limit %". This is the motor wind up reset.
As the motor accumulates error over time, the integrator limit will dictate the output % as you get closer to the desired position.
