can open eds was created by sebastian
we have a new mcd 2230 motor controller v3.2
and we are going to it with a plc via canopen.
our plc gives a error that it cannot establis a connection
the qeustion is if the ESD file is up to date for this motor controller

The documentation has not changed at all. Are all of your protocols and settings matching? Our controllers run on the 115200 baud rate.

There are no known problems with the EDS.
Make sure that you do not use USB at all while using CAN. Use RS232 to conect to the PC.
You should see the CANOpen heartbeat as soon as it is enabled and running.
For troubleshooting CANOpen, it is best that you first use a CANOpen Monitor Tool. Then use SDO's to read/write objects as they are listed in the eds.
Note that TPDOs and RPDOs can only be used to transfer data from/to a set of internal variables. Microbasic scripting must then be used to assign these variables to a particular function. See manual.
